Seller FAQ
Everything you need to know about selling tickets on WorldCupSeats.
Who can sell on WorldCupSeats?
Anyone aged 18 or over with valid FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets they no longer plan to use. You must own the tickets and have the right to transfer them.
How do I list a ticket?
Sign in, click "Sell" in the navigation, and follow the listing flow: select the match, enter your section and seat details, set your price, and publish. Listings appear on the marketplace immediately.
How much does it cost to list?
Listing is free. We only charge a 10% seller fee when your ticket actually sells. See the Pricing page for full details.
When do I get paid?
Payouts are released 5 business days after the event, once we've confirmed the buyer entered the venue. This protects both sides against chargebacks and invalid tickets.
How do I deliver my tickets to the buyer?
When a ticket sells, you'll get an email with instructions. Most tickets transfer through the official FIFA ticketing portal — we walk you through the steps. Transfers must complete within 24 hours of sale, or 12 hours before kickoff (whichever is sooner).
What if I sell a ticket I no longer have?
Failing to deliver a sold ticket is a serious violation. You'll be charged a cancellation fee equal to the order total, and repeated failures will result in account termination. List only tickets you actually hold.
Can I change my listing price?
Yes — you can edit the price or unlist at any time before the ticket sells. Once a buyer completes checkout, the sale is final.
Can I sell multiple tickets together?
Yes. When listing, set the quantity and indicate whether they are seated together. Buyers expect to receive all tickets in a single transfer.
What if my listing isn't selling?
Check comparable listings for your match and section. Pricing is the biggest factor — lower-priced listings sell first. The Sell page has pricing guidance for each match stage.
